Why Seelix why?

I hate you Zarek.

"Don't frak with me!"

And Helo gets a gun to the head. Again.

Aww.

Eat this goo and you can make funny faces like mommy!

About to get his ass kicked by an old man.

Irony!

Aqil's (short) blockhead opinion on Battlestar Galactica Season 4.5 Episode 12
"Disquiet That Follows My Soul"Again, i'll make this as spoiler free as possible.
AftermathThe aftermath of discovering Earth really surfaced in the episode.
Questions like "Where do we go from here?" were thrown about constantly during the ep.
Military vs Democracy priority in decision making surfaces again mainly due to VP Tom Zarek's tough (ignorant, i never liked zarek) stance on his opinions on decisions.
Possible Cylon-Human AllianceSelf explainatory.
Makes sense that the rebel Cylons want a Qorum seat.
Hotdog's a Father! But its not what you think.
Aww Tyrol, you're a great dad.
Nicky is adorable.
Gaeta CrackingGaeta sides with antagonist (and reveals the asscrack-side of himself) after fellow Fag Hag Dualla dies.
Gaeta's gonna get a huge place in the coming final episodes.
Not enough Helo though.
Tom Zarek sucks. Period.Never liked him.
Never will.
Nooooo Gaeta nooooo!
Laura goes nutsWe need you to live Laura!
BSG doesn't need a blockhead of a President if Zarek takes over.
Adama and Baldie had sexAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAH.
SEX! THEY HAD SEX!
ADAMA GOT SOME LAURA BOOTAY.
About time, actually.
Why do I have this feeling that Laura's gonna really die soon.
Beautiful scene.
Not as profilic as 11, 12 reveals alot of things to come and develops things that are further.
We see hope, animosity and future chaos in this one.

Okay, one week late.
I am one week late on giving a review/opinion/several lines of thought/ramblings out of my mind/blahblah about the latest episode of Battlestar Galactica Season 4.5
"Sometimes a Great Notion"
Not that anybody cares.
My memory of episode 11 is rather rough and I can't rewatch it since my desky imploded.
So here comes Aqil's (short) blockhead opinion on Episode 11 of Battlestar Galactica 4.5
"Sometimes a Great Notion"I'll try to make it as spoiler-free as possible.
That being said, read at your own risk.

Frak EarthSo we left off at episode 10 of S4.0 with the all the remaining major/minor characters finding Earth in a desolate state. As with all things BSG-ish, Earth got nuked (during a civil war, no less). All the characters, be it Cylon, Human or Final Five, were devastated at this discovery.
Why shouldn't they be?
Earth was the last glimmer of hope Mankind had of surviving as a species.
Earth caused the 2s, 6s and 8s to create a civil war between the Cylons.
Earth was the whole point of Battlestar Galactica.
What the frak are they to do now?

Roslin's speechless book-burning As much as a I can't stand Laura Roslin's character in BSG, she's the character I pity the most in this episode. All her hopes, dreams and remaining strength was dashed the moment she stepped on Earth.
She was then rendered speechless for the first time ever after returning to Galactica when asked about the state of Earth.
She ignored everyone and then simply fought her way through the crowd, totally out of her cement-face-of-a-politician-character.
Her burning of The Scrolls of Pythia (an oracle that chronicled the way to Earth) really showed how little faith she had left in anything.
Gone was the steel faced mystic of a politician.
Hello jaded aetheist.

Adama's drunken rampageI hate this scene.
Not because it was done horribly or anything (this scene has to be one of the best scenes ever in BSG) but it was simply heart wrenching.
To those who know what's going on in the world of Battlestar Galactica,
William Adama was MORE DRUNK than Saul Tigh.
William Adama asked Saul Tigh to shoot him.
William Adama wanted to shoot himself.
I hear the "What the Fraks" already.
I have to give it to Eddie Olmos for his capability to do this about-turn in character which
was simply amazing.

Dualla's deathI saw this coming a mile away.
Not Dualla dying of course, but the suicide.
Someone had to do it after finding Earth like that.
Sadly, it was Dualla.
Makes sense, kind to think of it.
She lost Lee and with it any hope in living a life in the military.
She pretty much lost everything to live for after finding Earth uninhabitable.

Starbuck's bodyWhat the frak is she.
Haha, I love Leoben's face when Kara finds her body.
Harbinger of Death, Kara Thrace, you are.

Final Five's recollection of EarthAwesome.
Sam was a rockstar.
Tory was his lover.
Tyrol was buying fruit when the nukes hit.
Saul knows who the final Cylon is.
Meh, why her.
I don't like the choice of final Cylon.
"Sometimes a Great Notion" was a very dark episode with almost no glimpses of light.
You'll see sides of characters you thought you'd never see, with many of these sides not exactly something you'd want to see in a particular character because its the binary opposite of that character.
11 was a sad episode.
